More often than not, you will need to remove any and all old guttering in a given property, unless its guttering came from a recently constructed building or home. On one hand, plastic guttering removal is fairly simple to execute, even without any professional help. On the other hand, you need to exercise due security measures when removing guttering, especially when it comes to cast iron ones; they're very heavy and tend to have sharp edges.
Iron guttering is best removed with the help of someone else. Also, take note that whenever old guttering needs to be removed, fascia and soffit boards usually follow suit. At any rate, if rusted-in thick bolts have been used to secure your old iron guttering in, you will have to hacksaw through the bolts themselves.
